I periodically check Girls Channel (female 2ch) and it feels way more hostile towards fujos there than LC. It's funny because like LC they have a dedicated fujo hate general and if you go into any BL/fujo general the replies always have more downvotes than upvotes. Most of the shitflinging seems to be stirred by fujo vs yume wars because any anon that shits on yumes in addition to fujos and not just the latter gets backlash kek.

I wish I took screenshots and bookmarked the tweets, but there was a recent case of yumejoshi feeling persecuted by fujoshi because the new Utapri single shows the main guys hugging each other while looking at each other instead of looking at the camera. They were arguing over how it feels disgusting and like fujoshi who also like otome games are invading their space. Meanwhile, the character designer of their precious husbandos is a fujoshi who earned money and started her career drawing for Togainu no Chi and Lamento kek. And plenty of official art the past 15 years showed the Starish guys acting exactly like that so it's nothing new. These tweets had crazy numbers of likes and replies.

It's okay I haven't really tried not to personalityfag when it comes to YukiKyo so it's not creepy kek. Yes I am! The OTP I was talking about that I found nsfw stuff for was YukiKyo. And I'm so happy I managed to convince one person to read the sequel… it's good, I've said this on some part of the internet before but Hajime&Mutsuki really are what YukiKyo could've been w/o the curse bs and it fucks me up that Kyo (or was it Yuki?) even explicitly says that! Mutsuki casually jokes with Hajime who complains and pushes back but they still hang out all the time…President & VP…They *were* quite cute and they even live together (Ayame, at the end of og FruBa makes a comment about KyoRhu possibly doing the nasty together when Shigure leaves the house and all I could think of was that applying to Hajime&Mutsuki), and yeah don't get me wrong I love Kyohru too, and in fact Yuki&Kyo would've made zero progress without her, but their relationship haunts me and it kills me it's stuck inside of a shojo where the fandom's inactive and het-oriented (besides Kakeru&Yuki, which I don't really like). The author's making another series rn so sadly she might be done with FruBa for good but I'm glad she threw us fujos one last bone kek. I'm actually happy you brought it up anon, I love talking about it and in general FruBa's yaoi ships…

I feel like this with modern 'gamer' fujos that only play games with a fandom (undertale/deltarune, gachaslops, maybe popular 'flavor of the month' like people did with mouthwashing or vns like NDS which I doubt they actually DID play, some jrpgs like persona or FE, the always omnipresent pokemon) but don't actually like videogames. They don't like putting in effort in a game, let alone play it sometimes, and I'm absolutely sure that a lot of BNFs of game-adjacent fandoms don't even play the games they say they play. A lot of gachaslop creators also constantly say "I stopped playing (Gacha) some time ago" but still make art of it.
It feels like a lot of people got into nerd culture mid-covid but don't actually even enjoy it

I've never been sure why this is. Why bother getting into something when you don't actually like it? It does make me appreciate that Soulsbornes have such a high entry cap. Unfortunately, they've got a very male fan base as well, but I guess that's the price to pay to weed out (I hate to use the term, but it's right) fake fans, then so be it.
