Currently playing deltarune! Just completed the 4th chapter so I'm on my way to chapter 5! I'll being doing 3-5 on weird route shortly after I beat ch 5 on normal/paci. I'm super excited to try it out!!

I really like krisbowl (ALLxKris) though I consider kris a girl so its mostly NL or GL ships when it comes to her. As for BL ships I like Tenna x Spamton and the mike trio.
Although I haven't played chapter 5 yet I've already been spoiled on some of the characters I think Asgore is cute and I secretly hope he's the uke to that flowery twink…

With recent news, I definitely won't buy digital games on the PS5 and will try to get physical copies for games I'm interested in soon even if I won't be able to play them right away. I need to check if I haven't missed out on interesting games on the PS Vita as well, but as soon as I see recommendations for cheap retro games on the Vita I either already bought them long ago or they're not in the European PS Store in the first place. After that I'm done. I already refuse to get a Switch 2 for many reasons, and the PS6 isn't even on my radar and will never be. I own plenty of games I would like to (re)play already so that's not an issue at all for me. Maybe someday I'll get into emulation but I want to play what's in my backlog first.

On a more positive note, I just beat Unicorn Overlord and I will either start Zelda BOTW or Raidou Kuzunoha on the Switch. I have travel plans for later this year which means I most likely won't take my Switch with me for a few months, so I'm trying to prioritize this console first. Besides that right now on the Switch I've stopped playing SMT3HD long ago because another game interested me more at the time and I then moved on to more games, and I also have the FF Pixel Remaster compilation but I only started FF1 and died so soon in the first dungeon it pissed me off kek. Unicorn Overlord is pretty good, it's easy but I'm not very good at that kind of games so that wasn't a problem for me. I unlocked a new difficulty setting, I don't see myself trying it. Don't play the game for its story or potential fujobait though, the story is very simple and generic even if it's not bad at all, and there's no fujobait at all (unless maybe with some very specific guys in optional dialogues I've missed?)

I'm not some 15 years old kid who's collecting consoles and games on a whim since last week, I'm in my 30s and I've been into video games since I was a child so I've purchased games and consoles little by little and often for cheap when they were second hand copies before I could get a pc.

The idea that you really will never own a game again is dystopian. Needing an internet connection and an account to play a $80 game reminds me of that old service OnLive. Which got shut down in 2 or so years and nobody got refunds for their purchases. I got a disk specific PS5 because I actually like finding used games on the cheap.

I've got a collection of PS2 titles just because they were like 0.15 USD.

This is so troubling because I can see physicals being mass bought up to be resold 5x their value like the original Project Diva for PS3. Emulation is basically perfect now so it's not as hard to get as it was, but that does not make it right.

Playing tomodachi life and getting my otps to get together. It’s such a pain sometimes because they’ll fall for some other random mii kek.
I also bought the ninja gaiden trilogy on sale recently and I'm slowly getting through them. I love hack and slash so the gameplay is super fun but I wish ryu had half the personality that dante or raiden or travis touchdown have. He has no charm at all…

I haven't bought a lot of consoles second hand. It's usually either thanks to gift cards for christmas from my father's job we were three, and then four siblings so that meant three/four gift cards a year or thanks to sales than I got consoles, besides the Switch. I waited from the 3DSXL to have become less expensive instead of getting the OG 3DS for 250€ and I waited for the PS Vita as well, which means it was less expensive than during its release date and it included a memory card for free. The PS Vita memory cards were ridiculously expensive so that was a big deal back then.

As for games though, I think well over half of what I own are second hand copies, and some of what I bought as a teenager were crazy cheap compared to what you can find now after covid and scalpers ruined everything for everyone. I think even most of the DLCs I've bought, and that's not a lot, were on sales, for instance I got FE Fates with both main versions second hand for cheaper than the initial price, and then I got all the DLC during the only week of sales the 3DS FE games ever had in Europe because I refused to give too much of my money to Nintendo after their American localizers ruined the story and half of the characters on top of removing gameplay features.

Last time I was interested in playstation was around the PS3 era. As you can imagine I've always been into weeb games and at some point it felt like I didn't need a playstation anymore for weeb games and now playstation is mainly known for movie games with realistic graphics like Last of us. Current gaming news doesn't bother me that much because I was already planning on focusing more on older games and indies for the foreseeable future.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't even understand why this is being made in the first place. Danganronpa 2 has been available on modern platforms with the rest of the DR games to begin with and it seemed like after V3 the series was ready to die. Are they going to reboot it?

Have you seen the dialogue that you get during the festival when you do give him away in chapter 4 yet? It made me kyaaa hard, I can't wait to see where their subplot is going to go. Mettaton was my fave back in the day and seeing him finally get a decent yaoi ship (besides unserious, toxic mettapants) is refreshing. I hope they kiss and all the papyton shippers fuck off to Blue/Yellow. Please don't let me down, Toby.

The key to long term engagement is filling your game with insane homo vibes that fujos decades later still draw/write about it. Men just don't want to engage with stories/characters like women do unless it's in the form of patreon gooner bait and quality 18+ doujins.

Been playing some Ketsui ~ Kizuna Jigokutachi. Despite being a game developed mostly for hardcore shmup players, I am pretty impressed with the huge amount of fujo fanart on pixiv dating back to 2008 (and even till today!). Perhaps its the horrible situation the pilots they find themselves in (suicide mission) on top of their pretty attractive designs.

CAVE (The company that develops this game) mostly has girl MCs in their other catalogue, so this is a rather nice surprise in the world of shmups.

Their story is very much barebones (the most amount of story text in the game are in the intros and the ending after you beat a run). Evansman, the glasses dude, is very much homo for his co-pilot in his ending. Wanting to be with him until the bitter end. With how little it is, still manages to flare up my fujo instincts while I pilot the plain through the hell of war.

Maybe more hardcore should do lowkey yaoi bait for fun…

I kinda wanna try out Advance wars Days of ruin because blonde guy and blue haired guy are hot and I wanna see if there's any fuel to make them fuck. I never played this series before but I do play fire emblem games.
