Weirdly, the topic is not how to “make” a bomb, but rather, how to “become” a bomb. Adam talks about how he used to mail bombs to people. Adam says he’s going to demonstrate by making Margo into a bomb. Interestingly, he states she’s one of the last four people in the world. This mirrors something from when Adam was jerking Joe off: Joe asked Adam if he was human, and Adam said he was not. However, Adam addresses the “not-people” in the crowd as being something different from himself.
Adam talks about how, to become a bomb, Margo must lose her three guardians: Joe, a woman Margo cannot remember, and Margo’s father. Joe’s relationship with Margo is described as mutually beneficial, and Adam states Margo is someone Joe can “pour his love into in a way his mother would accept.” Adam attempts to do a live demonstration on Margo, but he is stopped by Mr. Vice. Adam steals Margo’s tablet. Margo runs into Veronika, and the game crashes. We reboot, and the game addresses us as “Nikki.” After the scene loads again, Margo is in the process of confronting Adam. She agrees to the live demonstration, and the demo ends.
>The Steam DemoThis version is censored, and I spent more time than I’m comfortable admitting trying to get the coerced gay handjob scene to play with a patch. It was only later that I realized that scene was exclusive to the previous version. The Steam version is all-ages without the patch, and it becomes het with the patch.
In this version, Joe is a schizophrenic young man who still spends all day baiting and infighting on the school website. Joe is delusional, as he’s convinced he has control over reality. He also believes the moon is about to hatch. He has a hatred for men despite both being and dating a man. Also, for some reason, he now talks even more like a neckbeard.
Joe is dating Adam, but Adam seems significantly more terrified of him than Margo was. Adam is aware that Joe is delusional. He outright asks Joe if he believes he has control over reality, and if he actually thinks the moon is going to hatch. Also, Joe forces him to wear a skirt. Joe states he and Adam knew each other before they started school, but they only started dating in college, which is very different from the previous version where Adam was a complete stranger. Finally, Adam is no longer a gross little freak, and I hate that. He’s more innocent, and Joe has adopted most of Adam’s old traits.
Margo is friends with them in this version, and she still has a project with Adam. Joe gives us some lines which reflect things Adam said in the previous version, and it seems like Adam was alluding to the events we see in this later version (in the previous demo, he told us he was once beautiful, loved, and human, but no longer. Joe refers to him as beautiful, loved, and human here).
