Let me start off with a mini rant. Reading through the early chapters again, reminded me of how much I absolutely hate that old man. Infact, I hate the whole damn Sarutobi clan! (Aside from one character who will appear later on). Nothing will justify why Hiruzen let Naruto be treated so badly. And fuck him for letting a child live alone for his whole fucking life!!!
On the brightside, I got to cry again seeing how wonderful Iruka was. He is my favorite character hands down!! The scene where he saved Naruto from Mizuki, always chokes me up!!

I was about 11 when I first started reading Naruto, but now everything feels clearer. Maybe I wasn't emotionally mature enough for some parts.

>What was your favorite moment from the past 20 chapters?Idk about favorite but the one I remember the most vividly is when Sasuke offers his food to Naruto then so does Sakura! In general Sasuke is way less antagonistic (besides calling him dumb but everyone does) than I recall which is interesting, it really is Naruto kicking the bee's nest repeatedly kek.

So much of early shonen manga "doesn't matter" because so little that happens there ever comes into play again. >How do you feel about the cast that have been introduced in the story at this point?It's a little sad knowing Sakura quickly becomes irrelevant after being set up as "the one good with chakra" and "haha Inner Sakura funny". All of her moments post-timeskip feel like Kishimoto remembered "oh yeah, Sakura" rather than planning them in any meaningful way. I actually don't mind her being such a bitch this early because she's like 12. Also for all of the KakaIru I remember there being Iruka is kind of a nothingburger character to me (although I do really like his moments with Naruto).
